Las Salamandras de Ambiente is a South Florida organization that aims to create a safe and supportive environment for Latinas to connect, share their experiences, and learn from one another. To achieve this goal, the group organizes hands-on workshops that cover topics such as HIV/AIDS and safe sex. These workshops feature speakers from the healthcare industry, interactive skits, and the distribution of contraceptives, such as Rubber Dams and Latex Dams, which women can use during sexual intercourse to protect themselves. —— Las Salamandras de Ambiente es una organización del sur de Florida que tiene como objetivo crear un entorno seguro y de apoyo para que las latinas se conecten, compartan sus experiencias y aprendan unas de otras. Para lograr este objetivo, el grupo organiza talleres prácticos que cubren temas como el VIH/SIDA y el sexo seguro. Estos talleres cuentan con oradores de la industria de la salud, parodias interactivas y la distribución de anticonceptivos.
